Time to check in for October update:
Exciting news: I am selling my ceramics at two new artisan stores: ‘The Artisan Cave’ in Leek, and in ‘Yellow- Keep it Local’ in Telford.
And of course I continue to sell at the amazing Design 44 at Trentham in Stoke.
Currently making.. large pedestal bowls and pedestal plates. Hoping these will be popular for customers to buy for special dinner parties, or as a fruit bowl or maybe for a floral display by adding some oasis to arrange flowers…and each one is so unique!
Glaze combinations: It has taken a while of exploring but I am so happy with the current selection of glazes I use. I have given my glaze combinations wonderful names like ‘Wild Berries’ , ‘Sunlit Meadows’, ‘Barley Fields’, ‘Twilight’ and ‘Electric Blooms’. Loving the combinations I have, and that each piece is part of a theme whilst being unique due to application of colour (same colours but vary in application)
A little dose of Kiln Stress my kiln decided it was time for a few repairs. Fortunately we have an awesome kiln servicing place in Stoke (of course) and they swiftly repaired and serviced so I could get back on track with my work. Phew. For any potters out there I highly recommend Kilncare Ltd, Leek Road, Stoke. They are amazing!
